Māori Ringa Tohu Reo – Level 1

2 hrs once a week for 8 weeks
15-20 students per class

Beginners Level 1 covers:

– Karakia
– Haere Mai, Haere Mai, Haere Mai Māori Ringa Tohu Reo
– Mahia a matimati
– Fingerspell
– WhanaungatangaPēpeha
– Whakapapa
– Whaikōrero
– Tae
– Nama
– Waiata Ringa Tohu Reo (Te Aroha)

It’s not a requirement to know Te Reo Māori to learn Māori Ringa Tohu Reo. The course teaches the basics with signed concepts.
