These NZSL Classes are partially funded through Lottery Board Grants & fundraising.
CLASSES ARE HELD IN WHANGAREI and on ZOOM
New classes starting in the week of 7 January 2025.
We also deliver tailored classes for individuals and small groups.
Please note that dates/times due to circumstances out of our ability to manage could be moved to another week/time if a tutor has to be elsewhere or sick.

Beginner classes Level 1a Unit 1 & 2 – 2 hours – 4 weeks
(In-person classes and ZOOM classes)
Students are required to do self-study practise.
max 15 students per class
Unit 1 & 2 covers:
– Greetings
– Classroom
– Facial Expressions
– Actioning tasks
– Eye communication
– Numbers
– Alphabet
Select your Units 1 & 2 class day/time to pay and enrol (Stripe or Poli)
Courses are $50 per person. (Course is subsidised with a Lottery Board Grant)
Choice of classes to enrol in are:
Tuesdays 10am – 12pm or 6pm – 8pm
Wednesdays 6pm – 8pm
Thursdays 10am – 12pm (ZOOM ONLY)
